Okay, I'm driving my family broke!

At the end of last year, I made a vow to get a portion of our investments into gold. I like bullion, but I like coins more (plus they're easier to insure and, in theory, wouldn't be confiscated if the government would want to do what it did in the 30's when gold bullion was illegal until the 1970's).

I've placed the images in the Coin Grading section (https://goccf.com/t/108406) since I'm curious to see the gold bugs (and others!) get a crack at their Indian grading expertise.

I didn't chime in on the grading side since I still can't get a handle on grading gold but I love those indians. I have a couple half eagles & a quarter eagle & really want to get my hands on an indian eagle.

Oops...I did it again...https://goccf.com/t/108608

I was on my way out of the local coin show today when I wanted to see the last dealer (an acquaintance of mine) and this one caught my eye...in a PCI green tag holder, nonetheless.

Gold coins. Buy them, enjoy them, hold them and you are not nuts. They represent "real money" from before the era of paper money and electronic digits.

Converting Federal Reserve notes--or their digital equivalents--into real money with intrinsic value is never nuts, in my opinion!
