looks alright to me, but the toning makes it near impossible to grade.
going on what I normally go on, a lot of positive feedback is a good indication.

The lustre looks all wrong to me. I think the denticles are fine but that colour is questionable. Might have had a spray with something or maybe a dip. As always its hard to tell from dodgy photos.
I would not be buying this.

Probably not a fake - a 1940 penny simply wouldnt be worth faking.

Looks OK just lousy pic's. Not like the seller is asking a million dollars for this pretty ordinary coin, could be a bargain. No pun intended. Shipping is BS but

I think the lesson that can be learned from this listing is that if you post lousy pics you arn't going to get a good sale price.
I agree, it could be a bargain

I've actually put a bid on this one. More out of morbid curiosity than the desire to own the coin If I get it I'll post a pic I've won a few of these "lousy pic" coins on ebay and about 25% of the time you get a winner. A lot better results than I get on my rare bets on the horses

my best ever parlay win was a mistake, some how I mixed up the numbers of race 2 and 3 which both won along with my first and fourth race selections. that mistake won me $1100 for a $7 bet. as I recall ice cream sundae won the last leg at about $15.

The fingerprint on it will probably ensure there's no more bids.

The seller seems to be half decent so it will be interesting to see if trout (currently 999 post) is onto a winner. Better pics would be good to see.
