Quote: Do you have the 1878-S B1 reverse set complete too? Every time I find a 1878-S B1 I like my wallet hides in the corner quivering so I haven't actually ventured into that arena yet. I do have a few raw pieces but nothing graded or registry worthy

WOW! Congratulations. That is quite a collection and to be recognized in such a way from NGC has to be a great feeling. If you haven't shared many pics before perhaps you can put a few up. I would sure love to see them.

I do have a few raw pieces but nothing graded or registry worthy My fist one I found was a nice XF I traded it to Larry Briggs for a bunch of other coins, heard it ended up being the discovery piece for VAM72 (Doh)! Oh well, I didn't know much beyond the Top 100 at that time, Jeff Oxman looked at it and said Larry was looking for the coin if I wanted to sell, which I did at the time. I had only paid $7.00 from a junk bin for it, so I did okay - no regrets.

I will get some pics and post them in this thread. I am sure I have some on this computer but will have to attribute them before posting because I am sure none are labeled as such
