I believe the coins will be available via the website next week (possibly Monday). Since you received the Impressions catalog, I'm sure the RCM would accept your order today if you give them a call.

Quote: ...ALL 3 ARE NOT ON WEBSITE, YET, AS OF MARCH2, 2012 All of these coins have been on mint.ca in the Masters club section since February 20th. They were reported to have been released generally on February 28th and this is take from the e-mail notification that I received from the RCM on Feb 20 "Your Impression catalogue is on the way -- you may have even received it already! Take advantage of this special "pre-sale" notification and reserve your favourite coin issues before they are announced to the general public on February 28th" Not sure why they are not on the general mint site now but I'm sure you can pre-order by phone.

I ordered mine through Talisman a couple of days ago...may be worth a look if you don't want to wait for the mint

I ordered from Talisman as well. I doubt that you will receive them any quicker as usually Talisman lets you order but then you have to wait until they get them in stock from the RCM which is sometimes much later than when the RCM ships. Lately though, you can never be sure when the RCM will ship, it may be the next day or it may be 3 or 4 months after ordering!

The website states the 50 cent piece starts shipping April 6th.
The shipping dates on the other two aren't specified but it's likely April as well, perhaps to coincide with the actual anniversary of the ship's launch and subsequent sinking.
I doubt Talisman will get them any sooner.

I like the design. If it was Australian I might consider getting it, but for some reason coins (or stamps) that are produced for some small country don't seem like "real" coins (or stamps) to me.

What would make it more collectable is if there were a dragon coming out of the smoke stack! C'mon Perth Mint get on board.

It isn't Australian - it is Tuvalu - an island county halfway between Hawaii and Australia. Population 10,472. They should market it like the RCM - Only 1 of every 2 Tuvaluvans can own this coin! (Mintage 5,000)
