Quote: Found this today. A terrible photo but it is a 2001 20 cent upset by 90 degrees Well done coin hunter, it must take a heap of patience and perseverance to find these rotated die coins. Most of us ( me mainly) would miss these

I find these the easiest error to look for. I just place the coin between my thumb and fore finger in the "upright" position and rotate to check the reverse. Even when my eyes are getting tired it's very easy to spot the upset error. Although you have to double check to make sure your eyes aren't deceiving you. By the way I hope those 4 dancing smilies conveyed my joy in finding this coin.

I must say I had a good day today I also found an upset 2001 dollar coin (about 15 degrees) amongst some other good coins but I thought I wouldn't mention that as I didn't want to appear to be bragging , but what the heck, these good days don't come that often. My wife and kids don't seem to appreciate these finds so it's good to share it with you guys.

I have only ever found one type of upset coin (2010 50c). I have done some searching of $1 and 20c, but havent found any in those.

Hi, As promised here are the 2 2010 50 cent upset coins I found last night, within about 15 minutes of each other. The photo is not the best but you can make out the upset error . I still can't believe my luck. I'm hoping that some parent isn't screaming at one of their children for spending coins from their upset collection. I better put mine away before my kids get onto the
