Is there a syndrome for not wanting to get rid of ANY coins for fear of getting rid of something that you might not know about yet?

You simply have to remember that what you get rid of today makes room for something new to look through tomorrow. If you worry about all the things you don't know about, you will end up in a fog of going through the same coins over and over worrying about what you might have missed, when you probably didn't miss much of anything the first time through them.

And besides, finding good stuff is not super easy either. You need to search a large amount of coins.

Okay -- I hoard coins, but I don't think I have enough to get on that show!

My husband has always kept his pocket change in cans and jars. He would haul them to the bank once in awhile. So now they're mine!

And yeah, I've been through one can of coins exactly three times. But I just started this last year and I didn't know anything or have any books....so I don't expect I'll be going through any future cans of coins three times.

But I have to admit that for the past year, I wasn't ready to let anything go.
