Darth Anarchus Pillar of the Community United States 1388 Posts	Posted 02/17/2012 10:59 am I couldn't turn down a good deal, but I'm not sure if this is the rarer DDO, I would like some help telling the value of this one to see how good I did, by the way this was a $20 score... I absolutely LOVE this one... I'm pretty sure this is the doubled profile, but please correct me if I'm wrong... Report this Post to the Staff

You might check other devices on your coin to see if there is Machine Doubling in other areas? Obverse and reverse. I don't think it's a doubled die. Let me know what you find. I have been trying to distinguish Machine Doubling vs some of the pics called DDOs in the Cherry Pickers Guides. B/c of reading other threads, and pics coop and others have posted, I think I know what MD looks like. But some of the Cherry Picker's pics still look MD to me. So I try to read everything I can on it. Even if it is MD, I still think it looks cool. But I hope you did make a good score here. I wonder how hard it would be to put together an MD set of a certain coin? How much squash could a Sasquatch squash if a Sasquatch would squash squash? There are four that come close, yet I'm not positive yet...This coin has a strongly doubled profile, earlobe, designers' initials, and I can't tell about the eye, but I think it does...The last six is rotated counter-clockwise... And the L, I, and B of liberty seem to be off... Possibly a DDO-005, DDO-010, or a DDO-017... Looks like it's gonna be a long day... Something like this: Did you notice on the listings, that some are SMS and others are just business strike coins? That might help you to narrow it down better?
