Why is my pic being resized to a smaller size? I uploaded a 17 meg .bmp to picasa and it shows up looking like a thumbnail on here.

Well...couldn't figure out the problem with my pics being resized but I did edit and post a link that shows the larger size picture.

Pretty sure we have all been there. I was wrong on the first 4-5 coins I posted on here that I thought were Doubled Dies. Practice makes perfect!

Machine Doubling? Due to all the numbers doubled the same with what looks like doubling on the MM? Just wondering and trying to get doubling and Machine Doubling straight..... Still working on burnished and unburnished also....

Timehunter - The way most people 'get' the difference with hub doubling and Machine Doubling is to buy a true doubled die and study it. A 1995 doubled die in AU-BU is not very expensive and offers a very nice example of hub doubling to learn from. Burnished vs. mint state - they are virtually identical in most aspects. The difference with silver eagles is the mintmark. That's about it.

Coppercoins: Thanks for the info and reply. On burnished versus unburnished, I was reading somewhere about the two types of burnishing on the 2000 P?D? Sacagewa coins. There was some difference in them. I need to find that post again as I have some Sac's with some errors on them. Just got some equipment to take pictures and hope to post some soon!
