John, interesting. So the gouge/scape was on the die? Why not through the columns? It is neat!

That is pretty cool. Haven't seen one of those. So you think that was on the planchet before it was struck? Or are the marks on the die itself?

Think in negatives. The devices on the working die are inset so not easy to scratch. The large fields on a coin are the highest on the working die and easy to scratch.

Feeder Finger Damage is on the die and transfers to the coin. That is what it is.

This one is unusual, most Feeder Finger Damage I've found run top left to bottom right.
