G'dat Triggersmob, that's a very kind offer, and thankyou, but they'll have to turn up here eventually. I'll just be patient.
I ought to cultivate a broader range of bank employees: lately I've only been speaking to the lady who hands out the loans.
I will be fascinated to see how long it takes to get the whole set of six, just from circulation. I haven't paid attention in previous years.

got my first 2007 20 cent coin two weeks ago and of course APEC $1 have been out for a while. I havent seen any more since.

G'day from Darwin, in the tropical north of Oz,
yesterday, found my first 2007 $1 APEC; and two 2005 50-cent CG commemoratives.
On Friday just gone, a 2001 Tasmanian 50-cent turned up: the first I've seen. Now I only need NSW & SA to complete that set.
Collecting coins from circulation is character-building: it teaches me patience.

Still can't find any other coins other than the APEC - seems like the APEC coins disappeared very fast!

GX, still plenty of APEC $1 in Perth. I see them in the till at work all the time. Haven't seen 5c, 50c and $2 yet though. Peter, I'm glad you are starting to find them in the top end. Steve

trigger, that might be because you are living right beside the Perth Mint! I'm in NSW so I guess that's a bit off the Canberra Mint. |

I'm getting about 12-15 2007 20¢ P/week, approx 6 or 7 APEC's & approx 6 or 7 2007 10¢ per week in Brisbane. If anybody is desperate to get hold of some from circulation, let me know. I've kept quite a few of each. |

I cheated. I bought the UNC set from the mint featuring the 20 cent coin, and the UNC $1 APEC coin separately. Now I just have to figure out which coins weren't issued in the mint set, so I can find them; somehow. It's not that easy to put together sets of the Aussie circulating coins from Texas, either. ^^; My poor friend in NSW has to empty his pockets so I can 'search' them over instant messenger weekly.

2007 $1 APEC are now appearing regularly here, but I have yet to see any other coin of 2007, and I look very carefully.

Got a 2007 20c from the bank about 2 weeks ago. No others sighted yet from Mackay. Hope they don't take too long otherwise they'll be all baggy by the time they get here.  |

I got 10 rolls of 2007 20 cents from the bank today. I will keep a couple and open the rest looking for errors and chunkies. It pays to be persistent.  I've been haunting the banks for weeks now. |
