Hmmm, I'll go down the grading checklist...
Distinct hot (bright) and cold (dark) areas on both sides and no apparent luster breaks on high points (cheek, cap, eagle's breast) or in the fields. So, it's at least an MS60.
No serious marks in prime focal areas (Liberty's face or the field in front of her face; the eagle's breast, inner wings, and open space around the eagle). I see what looks like very light chatter on the cheek and some minor marks in the reverse fields. Absence of serious marks suggests at least an MS63.
Luster looks great and the strike seems solid, especially for a New Orleans dollar. I can't quite see the hair detail over the ear but the ear itself and the breast feathers look complete. The fields look frosty rather than deeply reflective, so I don't see this as P-L or DMPL. Looks like a solid gem MS-65, maybe even a point higher.

Jaobler,
Thanks for the detailed grading. This is what I like to see instead of just a grade with no explaination as why the grade was givin. The only way we all learn is through detailed observations.
Thanks.
