Hi all,

It has been a long time since I logged in the Community. Lots of work and have been sick but all is much better now.

I have added some new beauties to my US collection and I would like to share with you

a silver 1961D Roosevelt dime

I have completed some US sets and have been working on others, but I couldn't resist to start a new one ..... A Franklin half dollar set especially that I have a Dansco album for this beautiful set and I have already filled two holes in it. But every time I open this album, I find a lot of empty holes, and only two lonely coins a 1961 and a 1962D so I decided to start working on this set as well and I added these beauties (from my point of view, as I know that you all can get higher grades than these, but please remember that I live in Egypt )

a 1951

Nice! When I was young, one of parts of the family collection was the Kennedy halves but much perer the Franklins. I have a few and think about the set. Busy with Lincolns right now but it would sweet set to work on. Congrats on your start!
Rest in Peace

Thanks .... I have been working Lincoln set for years now and I have failed to fill some holes even with copper planchets so I thought I need something to give me some hope .... it is really frustrating when time goes by and I dont add any new coin to my collection

Considering you location, those franklins are great additions! Can't really give a grade without pics of the reverse, but they're a nice addition to an AU set!

Thanks for sharing.

I have always been amazed at how you can collect USA coins way over there. I would almost think no one would know what they even look like. Nice going so far.

Great acquisitions! Are you planning on including the famous 1955 "Bugs Bunny" variety?

Thanks HONDO, I dont look for high grades as I usually dont have the option to select from many coins but sometimes I get coins in a good condition and I consider it as a bonus

Thanks Carl.... I have been talking about my collection to my coin club members every time we meet(once per month)and some of them are getting more interested in US coins and notes. Some have asked about silver certificates and Lincoln cents.I am using my duplicate coins and notes as gifts to make them more interested and now we have some US coins as a monthly prize for the best article.
