Tough call from a cellphone. Looks EF45 - AU50 on a small screen.

AU50 wear with what seems to be a good bit of lustre left.

The reverse shot of these pictures show an almost different coin from the obverse. The reverse is (IMO) a strong AU-50 and the obverse appears in these pictures to be an EF-40. But I think the obverse picture is a bad representative of the coin and I'm going with AU-50 for an overall grade. A Beauty!

From the picture it looks like a low AU.

I agree that the picture of the obverse is a really bad one, so here is another picture of the coin. (I only have my camera phone, sorry!)

I think it's an AU coin. There just seems to be just a small amount of wear on the hair.

I am going to be a little bit more optimistic on this coin. I think it would grade around an AU-55. The coin appears to have almost full MS luster with just a some friction in the hair, face, and the feathers. It's got some nice toning as well.

This is one of the toughest coins to grade. Even the the TPG's get it wrong much of the time. I have MS coins that are so poorly struck that PEACE is just barely visible. Still an MS coin though. Look for mint luster or lack of as well as any rub/wear on the high spots. Research the Yrs. and M.M.'s as far as population and compare the strike quality and quantity etc. Check for VAM's and die stage/state. This coin should make AU50. Not much diff. in the grades on this one as far as value anyway. All in all you have a 30 to 35 dollar coin. By the end of this summer at the latest, the melt value will exceed the numismatic value on any non key date Peace dollar in any grade from G to AU.
