At last Wednesday's coin club meeting I acquired a pre 1971 Capital Plastics 20Th Century type set holder 451-N. It has 18 openings for the following coins:
Indian Head cent
Lincoln Cent
Lincoln Memorial cent
Liberty nickel
Buffalo nickel
Jefferson nickel
Barber dime
Mercury dime
Roosevelt dime
Barber quarter
Standing Liberty quarter
Washington quarter
Barber half
Walking Liberty half
Franklin half
Kennedy half
Morgan dollar
Peace dollar

Pre-1971-20-Century-Type-Set-Holder

There are no Eisenhower dollars or bicentennial coins. The version I have completed has five additional openings for the regular issue Ike dollar and the quarter, half and Ike bicentennial coins plus the Susan B. Anthony dollar. As you can see I have already begun to fill it having a 1943-S dime and a 1964-D half dollar occupying their respective holes.I paid $15.00 for it which was a steal.

I agree it was a steal at that price, Capital Plastics makes great looking holders! I have some of my favorite 2¢ piece varieties in their single coin holders.

Yes, that is a good price. My 20th Century holder from Capital came after that one, and there is one even newer. Given their list prices these days you did very well.

I also have the one just after this one that has the bicentennial trio, quarter, half and dollar, the regular issue Ike and the Susan B. Anthony dollar which I completed in all MS condition March of last year. I've seen the newest version of this type set and I don't like it at all. It would have been much better if they had just one opening for a single State Quarter so the collector has the option of which one to put in it rather than have all five of the 1999 quarters.
