Hello!
Some questions about Polish coins with Jozef Pilsudski:
1. Which coins of Jozef Pilsudski were minted for his life(what years)? 2. And which after his death?
Thanks!

He died on 12 th May 1935 so anything after is postmortem.First year of issue was 1935.Last year was 1939.

Wrong. First coins (2 zlote, 5 zlotych and 10 zlotych) with Joseph Pilsudski were minted in 1934. There are two versions of 5 zlotych and 10 zlotych: 2 zlote 1934: 5 zlotych 1934 10 zlotych 1934 DagonX

This guy would have had lots of trouble eating an apple pie loaded up with whipped cream! I know. I did, when I had a moustache!

As regards whipped cream, I rest my case! Actually, I have a silver 5 Zlotych of 1933. Sadly, it's only in about Fine condition, perhaps silver value only. Just a common garden variety type, hasn't even got Pilsudski on it. Curiously, Krause show these coins with Pilsudski on the reverse.

More recently he features on: Y#180 50,000 zlotych 1988 (silver) Y#201 100,000 zlotych 1990 (silver) Y#204 200,000 zlotych 1990 (gold) Y#210 500,000 zlotych 1990 (gold) Y#652 50 zlotych 2008 (gold)
Needless to say I don't have any of the above! Y#653 200 zlotych 2008 (gold)

I just found a coin in my attic, I cant find it anywhere on the computer. Its bronze looking but it is very dull. It says Pilsudski on one side with the front of an ocean liner with the name Pilsudski on it. The reverse side has all polish words with some numbers reading PIERWSZA PODROZ 15IX-24IX*29IX-8X1935 The inset is what looks like raised parts of a map but there is little detail. also is the letter GA with an L under it
Any idea what this is , is it a coin/token from the ocean liner?
Thank You

MS Pilsudski, as you say, was an ocean going liner and the Polish wording translates to 'First Trip'. Some of the numbers could be interpreted as August 1935, it's first commercial voyage.
