I spent some shiny goldfish dollars at Thrift Shop. The clerk was surprised :" Are you giving us golden dollars?" I did not want to burst his bubble, just smiled, although dollars were modern, not Golden at all. The clerk was senior man, who, probably, had known better times with real Golden Dollars?
