Do you mean a 5 mark? 90% silver, 13.88g. Do you assume it's Hitler because of the swatika?

Not a coin, medallion. Here's some info. More proper, fantasy piece.

The reverse shows the eagle without a head. May have been some political significance to this. There are no official coins of Hitler. Has to be a fantasy piece.

"WHOOMP" there it is... "WHOOMP" with an "H". Get it straight, homey.

I fourth that, a simple fantasy piece. It should be noted that there were patterns for coinage with Hitler's portrait. If you google "hitler's portrait" 5 mark or something like that, you will find a couple of old PCGS forum threads about this (one thread shows a photo of one from a book).

Notice how Hitler's hat is pulled over his eyes? It saved someone the trouble of doing his likeness.
Definitely not made during the 3rd Reich.

Okay... I got this real/period piece VVV
1935-Hitler-5-Rm

And, I could not manage to get a seller to break up his set to get this solid gold (.900 fine or 22kt?)commemmorative from the 1950's (I think) VVV
1935-Hitler-5-Rm

There is also another modern commemmorative to go along with the picture demerest posted... Hitler without the hat though. Modern I say because both are still currently being produced and available on ebay. Not silver but possibly plated brass.

New ebay rules maybe why there are fewer of these to be found... frankly, there may be no PM content whatsoever in these pieces. However, if a seller calls them silver plated... fair enough. If a seller says they are solid silver, I'd be real skeptical... I have been looking for a solid silver piece and doubt they exist. More likely they are silver... in colour only!

If you have a proven solid silver one... let me know.

The only solid silver Hitler coin I've seen is the 2RM I posted above. The gold piece is from South America.

Curiously, Mussolini has a similar situation in coinage/medals.

Hideki Tojo is completely unknown to me on token/coinage... other than a matching piece to the Hitler South American gold piece. If you have a Tojo coin/medal/medallion/round metal thing... post a picture to me... and let's deal!

Not a coin either. There are no coins depicting Hitler; all the pieces shown here are medals. In the case of that "2RM" thing, however, an original coin design (2 or 5 RM - the piece here has no face value) was "borrowed" for the design of the medal. As for Mussolini, keep in mind that the king continued to be the head of state until Italy became a republic in 1946.

Hence the italics... they are all medals/medallions/tokens/round metal things. As for Mussolini, I was referring to modern tokens probably produced by the same company that produced the the Hitler pieces pictured above. Pictures are googled easily enough.(... hockey on now!) I'm/we are aware that no Hitler coinage was circulated...

Ah, got it. When I see a word in italics, I usually assume that the word is emphasized. :)
