silvercoinrn Pillar of the Community United States 863 Posts	Posted 04/20/2012 10:11 am I just finished my first book of coins. (second if you count state quaters.) It is a book of silver rosies. The last coin is a 47s. I saw it in a lot of coins for sale on ebay and bought them for about a dollar over spot. The rest of the coins are all s mint coins too so I figured it was worth it. I have just bought 15 $ face of pre 64 quaters so I think I am gonna start that set. Ill buy lots of silver coins on ebay and how to get lucky while at the same time increasing my silver stock :D Report this Post to the Staff

The Jefferson nickels were the first set that I completed, back in the 1960's. Completing a year set of large cents was my most difficult milestone. Pure chance delivered an affordable 1799 into my hands. It took me thirty years to complete a set of British farthings from 1860-1956; talk about patience! The last one was an 1863. The most fun set to complete was the so-called Dansco 7070 album for 1800-on U.S. type coins. That set involved constant upgrading and provided the best overall learning experience.
