How sleezy. I hope it gets returned and the seller has to eat the shipping too.

I'm not ready to cry intentional foul yet, but somebody is going to be disappointed. He got his act together the next day on coin pictures, the listing title screams Fair-Good and he added 3 updates on the condition and photos. I'm more inclined to blame foolish bidders than the seller, however, that auction is not destined to end well for all.

I don't think it was the seller's intentions to deceive anyone. With the exception of one transaction, they pretty much just started using ebay. If you check out their other auctions, the photos are poor, and their description is poor. It is obvious to me at least, that they just aren't familiar with coins, or ebay. I give them props for listening to the messages they received, and editing their listing not once, but twice, saying that it is a stock photo.

ebay should halt this offering. IMHO, there should be no stock photos allowed for coins.

If ebay is going to not allow ANACS, why not do the right thing and instantly remove any listing that is not of the actual coin you WILL receive.
Give me a break.

That was the message for the pre-sale of the 25th Anniversary ASE listings...no stock photos and your image had to have some sort of identifying mark with your "call sign".

Actually I believe it IS against the rules to use stock photos.

I tried to report it, but there was no "stock photo" option apparent. The seller has a NO RETURN posted.

I reported it anyway. Very misleading!!
At least this way it will come to the attention of the ebay police.

I agree with Nod; totally sleazy!

I reported it also. I let ebay know someone was going to get burned.
They replied back saying they had removed it. Hopefully saved someone some heartache.
