I just bought a nice collection, highlight was a 1884cc Morgan in GSA holder.
Also in the collection was a 1923 Peace dollar in a flat soft plastic container with a plastic chip with GSA on it, on the other side of the chip it said one dollar, circulated, 90% silver, I don't recall ever seeing that, is it actually a government flat pack put out with the morgans or packaged by someone else.

I don't believe you

Let's see 'em!

Talk is cheap,

Perhaps the UN in uncirculated was under inked on the chip.

relax, just joshing with you, I should have paid attention to your recent entry in the forum. We do get our share of pranksters on occasion who make some outlandish claims, yours does not seem to be one. But we do LOVE pictures!

When the GSA released dollars to the public any that had toning or were not blast white got the circulated grade, they were not graded by coin experts then. Does your's have toning or off white color? The Collectors Society one you posted looked to have a bit of yellow toning color on it though the photo is quite small on their website. The NGC one is an AU and also has the circulated token. Keep it in the package intact as that will add to the value of the coin, many people collect these because of the GSA packaging.

GSA released thousands of coins in the soft pack. Many were classified as "circulated" because of toning but some of the nicest coins I have seen came in the soft packs. By all means keep it in the soft pack

All of the Peace dollars in the GSA sale were put in the soft packs no matter what condition they were in.

It has ugly brown toning in spots, thanks for the info, it does
appear at least MS60 to me, almost no luster but
that could be because of packaging, but I grade Morgans a lot better
than I do Peace dollars.
