A-Nice-Upgrade-For-My-7070!

2 years ago, I didn't even know what a "7070" was...

A few days ago, I paid a bit over $100 for 1/2 of a cent...

Don't cheat and go to the "completed listings" on ebay to find out what I paid! Give me your honest opinion on the grade first.

It's in a NGC holder, and I plan on cracking it out sometime after the 24th...

I like it! I'd say F15. Lacks the hair detail to make VF imo...

XF-40, possibly because of a softer strike from the looks of it... I would estimate you paid about $120 for it, which is a solid price for such a nice specimen... that's an upgrade for sure

It's not in the album yet, but I do have it in hand.

EF-40 is the grade. I got it for $102. Numismedia tells me I got a fairly decent deal.

When I first bought my 7070, my only intentions were to simply "fill the holes". My local dealer did everything but point his finger at me and laugh. He tried to warn me about "upgrade-fever", but I just wouldn't listen.

Thankfully, as I get older, I'm able to forget things easier. This has helped, because I cannot honestly say how much $ I've spent so far upgrading.

Ive forcing myself to only buy a coin that I'm permanently happy with. There are times where I'll buy a coin I like and change my mind, but once it goes in the album, there it stays. (im not doing a 7070 btw, so my typeset is already a special case.)

Nice looking 1/2 cent btw.
