Any chance on the 1983 that is a doubled column?

I've never seen doubled columns on the 83 before. Probably die gouges. The bays are on the outside/field part of the die.

I've seen similar anomalies as on your 83 John...they were determined to be gouges or dents.

Thanks for the input everyone. When I showed the 83' to my wife I told her I thought it was die gouges. What I found strange was that they were the almost identical and parallel. Add to that their and it makes you wonder.
