Its not broadstruck, it looks more like Die Deterioration.

It sort of looks like the coin was at the end of a roll, and got worn or discolored that way.

Interesting, I know that the pics are not great but that part of the coin is raised up off of the coin, there is no wear visible on either side of that ridge. I really wish that USB camrea I got today did a better job. I will try and upload some close ups of that ridge tomorrow. Thanks for the help folks!
