I just saw a commercial for the OxyClean stuff and they used it on a copper bottomed pan, and it worked excellent. I wonder if it would be safe for coins. Anyone want to try?

I don't think buying that stuff is worth my time and money. It doesn't work on heavily soiled cloths, shop towels, so why would it work on coins. Rather than using that stuff, I'll just run a coin a few times under the wire wheel on the bench grinder.
Just one more item to add to the list of things that should not be used on coins.
