Had to come here to see cause this is throwing me off on the last memorial bar and would like to know if it is a DDR and what number or the bad news if it is a spender.

Is-This-1993-A-DDR?

yes very close mine shows stronger doubling it appears and mine was minted in denver I guess I should have mentioned that better late than never.

Looks like zinc showing through the plating from what I can see?

nah thats just the image that I took with my USB Microscope under a loop it looks like a raised streak.

The one to the left appears to show some zinc one the last one looks like a line going down?

Some different photos with the light hitting the area in question at different angles would be a big help. Based on the photos you have, though, I think you might have something.

On the coppercoins site, 1DR-006 and 1DR-007 show that this particular type of error was happening that particular year. Yours looks different, though.

I believe that this particular DDR was more prevalent on the "94" LMC:

Here is a better image but I think its more of a dissapointment it looked so DD ish before now it looks like my worst enemy zinc is popping its head out let me know.

@Maineman750 ... surf to link and read, it says 1994 not the 1993 for DDR in columns. Not saying its impossible to be in a 1993 coin, I was just offering some help on the subject.

I do realize that the 1994 version of this type of DDR is more popular, but looking at coppercoins.com shows a few from 1993 as well. Not nearly as valuable as the 1994's, as they are not as dramatic.
