The bank teller enthusiastically shared his knowledge: "did you know that the 1966 round 50c has 2 bucks worth of silver in it?" I corrected him (aka: the new guy to the branch). The branch manager had some round 50's come in and had set them aside for me. I was in today, she said: "good news Tim, I have a special 50c for you". The new guy - who works at that branch casually, had taken the coin earlier in the day - the other teller said something and he replied: "Too bad, it's mine now". GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! Though I did get 40 bucks worth of coppers that had come in during the week ;) Hoping to find a number of 68s!! Report this Post to the Staff

I should also note, she told me that Mon afternoon/Tues morn are the best days to get "fresh supply". I got another $500 worth of rolled $1s. I thought my luck would be better with rolled.
