MS-65 RD although a few small spots could possible knock it back to a 64RD

Depends on if this is graded by any TPG on Monday before the first cup of java or Friday afternoon.

Seriously, this is at least a 65Red or 66 Red with booming luster. The spot on the obverse - what is it? 09 P's in this condition, are hard to come by.

NICE coin. Would easily fit in my set. Thanks for sharing.

Carbon spot aside, I think you have a real shot of a 65RD, 64RD at the least.

Thanks! I went to my new favorite coin shop for a few things today, and he had 4 1909's that had just come in. This coin was the first thing I saw, and couldn't resist... I almost left without him! I'm glad I didn't :) Wish the spot wasn't there, but you cant win them all! I was thinking about sending him off to ANACS.

It appears to be either a MS-65 RD or MS-66 RD. I would guess MS-65 RD. Beautiful coin by the way!

Not at all, but depending on the buyer, it can be a dealbreaker.

65RD, all day long. Do NOT use anything on that coin, that spot cannot be removed without damaging it. These are tough coins to find in the higher grades.....harder than the VDB's.

Very nice looking 1909. I wish mine looked even half as nice.
