Friends Here,I re-took pic of the 1982...DDO.Enjoy
I did try to get enough enamel Paint off to show details, the enamel paint is dug-in deep into curves of the coin..
Personaly, I love the Doubling on the Jacket, the best I have seen yet on any Linclon Penny. There is entire new linclon HEAD sticking out behind the Head.Is this REAL US MINT Error,Variety DDO?

God Bless,
Beck,
Linclon Penny Treasure Hunter

Looks normal from what I can see. What is doubled? On that year a lot of the EDS examples look like doubled dies, but that is just the way they look.
Here is a normal BU example:

Here is a side by side of what a 1982P-1DO-002 looks like with a normal one above the DDO:

I dont see any doubleing. Looks like a lot of staining from what ever was on the coin.

Even if this was a minor doubled die - which I completely doubt - it wouldn't have any value because of the contamination and cleaning.

When I'm searching rolls and come across 1982 LD's, I immediately look at the D in GOD. That is the PUP that I use; if the D looks extra wide I put the loupe to it. Die Deterioration is so common on these that it is easy to be fooled.
