Do you know who I should send it to for Grading? Sorry I tried to use my loupe to take detailed pictures. I seems like its in great condition and I used MS70 to get some of the dirt and grime off of the coin.

Looks like EF-45 or better for grade but definitely not mint state. Your use of MS70 is more likely to hurt the coin than help and a grading service might be able to tell that an attempt was made to improve it. In that case you would get a details grade or "genuine" designation, depending on what service you chose.
I would not invest the money to grade this coin, even if it had not been cleaned. IMO, having the coin in a holder will not enhance the value much and if you want to sell it someday you probably will not recover the grading investment.

Thanks Jaobler, MS70 is typically recommended to clean a coin. All it does is remove the dirt and grime off the coin from it being in change and circulation. It doesn't do any damage to the coin or shine it at all. As far as grading the coin. I may do that only because its easy to keep up with and it was given to me by my girlfriend and her family so it is special to me. I might even start an SLQ collection.

I wonder what NCS is using these days with all the coin cleaner out there, I haven't try any because I simply don't trust it.
Oh! I think it grade EF-45 also, and you can get your own slab and place anything on the label.

Right, I guess it feels better to know the exact grade of the coin from the experts lol. I dont know why I feel that way..

From these pictures, I would grade this one at AU50 Full Head. It's really nice example of this coin type. I believe ANACS or NGC are the only coin grading companies ebay recognizes and allows a seller to display the grades. I certainly wouldn't clean it any more.

Thanks Moe. I thought about getting it graded by ANACS but I have now heard multiple people saying that they don't believe it is worth the cost of grading.

Currently ebay only recognizes PCGS and NGC, not ANACS.

I am thinking AU 50-55 FH. I would send it through ANACS, no club to join, and are usually less expensive than PCGS and NGC. ICG just added the S/N Search to their website in hopes of meeting eBays new TPG criteria.

Well still kind of contemplating whether or not I want to send it to ANACS or not. I have thought about using them before and this coin means a lot to me. It would be $38.00 total to send this to them. What are your guys thoughts on that?

I think you just answered your own question. From a cost effective point of view, I think everyone is right in saying the value just isn't there. But from a personal & sentimental standpoint, the cost would be justified. So, I say send it in...

Sent the coin in today to ANACS!! I cant wait to see the results. Hopefully they wont say anything since I just used a cue tip to clean the coin for debris and tape etc with MS70.
