So I went to a few banks today, trying to acquire some more 2012 D rolls. Couldn't get anymore, but I did get some juicy information.

How many of you have gotten half dollars marked "lombardo"? Well, if I had a dollar for every one I've gotten, I would no longer be searching for silver!

Turns out a very sweet teller at a local bank and I got into a conversation, we were talking about large dollars, and somehow came up on the subject of a man who comes in for halves every day, just left with two thousand dollar bags of large dollars.

Hesitant, she released information about this man being Mr. Lombardo, who also owns a coin store here in NY. She wouldn't go further into detail, but google did the rest.

Check this out:

So next time you get a "Lombardo" half, we now know the slimy hands its passed through!

Yes, black or red sharpie writes LOMBARDO on them, he occasionally will date them too.. 3-26, 1-19, etc. Wish I had some halves needing to be returned, I would show you a pic.

Large dollars are so hard to get ughh. The most I've gotten were 18 of them, still have them and haven't even looked at them other than the dates. They're hard lil suckers to look at that globe and determine the type!
