Hello, Has anyone ever contacted companies such as Rosland Capital or others, which offer a free Mercury dime just for wanting their free Gold buyers kit?

I have not. I tried clicking on a link from this site (true, an ad) for a kit and gave them an e-mail address that I only use for online stuff, and haven't heard from them. If I see the ad again I'll post it.
I'd be interested in seeing if others have used them, or other groups people have used.

I also searched their ad and found no information about the free Mercury dime, Although I continue to hear their commercials touting the free Mercury dime. I wonder why they don't post any information on their website?

I did this a few years ago when silver was around 10.00 an OZ. At the time it was a full OZ they were offering. How could I say no? They sent me a generic Buffalo nickel design 1 OZ.

In reference to my previous comment:
The name of the company I mentioned is SBC Scottsdale Bullion & Coin. I clicked an ad from CCF, gave them my info (including an e-mail address that I only use for online stuff in case it put me on a super SPAM list), and the site told me they'd be in contact. That was Friday I think. Haven't had an e-mail or call, and I have been checking the SPAM folder just in case.

I got a circulated Franklin half dollar from a silver investment company a few months back. I was interested in reading what they had to say but was not too serious abiout investing with them. I am sure I will get some junk mail and what not, but some of the material is intersting to read and I got a silver half dollar out of it.

spaceace - what company was it? All I remember was the one I did was westcoast and the prices they wanted for investing were ridiculous.

MadMortician, are they in Scottsdale as in Arizona? If they are, I can do some poking around for you. That's where I live.

@Ninamason: Their website does indeed say they are located there. And thanks for the offer =) , but no need. I was actually going to post an update and saw your response. I called their office and asked what was going on, and they were very nice and said they were sorry, they didn't know why I had slipped through the cracks and didn't get a reply. They were nice enough that when I have more free time I will contact them again for info (hey, Diablo 3 just came out today and I have to have my priorities.)

I am glad to hear that those who called these sights haven't received any junk email yet. I will be using a spam designated email address for their offers.

I'd be interested to know if any companies are currently offering a free coin for giving up their info. I've looked and all I find are companies offering a free investment kit, and as I said I tried one and got no response.

I did a quick Google search and this is what I came up with, legitimacy is questionable, proceed at your own risk. http://www.silverdreamboxingcorp.co...-Raffle.html The site simply wants you to submit a form with your mailing and e-mail address and phone number for a free pre 1964 silver coin. I went ahead and did it since all they claim to do is notify you of "offers, deals, and promotional giveaways" on a weekly basis (we'll see about that as the events unfold). I've dealt with Littleton Coin Company's mailing list so I think I can handle these guys... lol. I've also heard of the site that offers Franklin halves, but apparently that offer expired on 3/31/12.
