got this today. the seller (an actual coin dealer) wanted it graded to MS-63. I can understand his optimism, the lusture is just awesome. Too bad the pictures don't show it better.
I can see it as MS-61 or above. Paid XF money for it so it's not a bad deal ;)

what do you think?

thanks in advance

I'm not a grader but it is a beauty! Nice images. The blue background is appealing.

I see no reason why it wouldn't be MS63 or even MS64, but barbers are not my thing.

The hit on the chin, the small rim ding, and the black spots hurt it, but not much! Beautiful coin.

Really nice coin! I don't see any wear and the strike is solid, even on the eagle talons. Assuming the luster is unbroken in the fields it does look like a strong MS candidate. I definitely would have jumped on this coin for XF money! Are you planning to send it for grading?

The thing is, I'm living over seas, and trying to gather enough gradable coins to make it worth sending them over for. The thing is, I would like to have them sent to different graders though. And it's my first time sending coins for grading.

I got maybe 6 or 7 coins I wanted graded, all in the XF to MS grade. Haven't looked too much into the whole grading process though, bet it would cost me alot just to send them over and back insured...Oh well, those are problems I can live with:P

Jaobler, the luster is just awesome, and with the slight toning, it's just a beautiful coin...
Regarding the "blue background" is actually a 3 layered background: Black marble, then white sheet of paper, then a plastic 2*2, which the coin sits on. Lighting is natural shaded daylight. My crappy camera made it look like that on automatic. Need a better camera...

There does not appear to be any wear but I am not completely sure. I would call think at least a high AU with a very good possibility of being MS. Looks to be relatively free of marks. I would have paid XF money for that beauty all day long!
