I just completed the process of producing, writing, directing, editing, and hosting a video about a new book, "Top 50 Most Popular Modern Coins." In the video I interviewed the co-authors of the book.
I'm not overly experienced at doing videos, so consider this a rather rookie effort considering I had to mic three people for the first time, I had to shoot with two cameras simultaneously for the first time, and I had to sit in front of the camera and host (instead of just narrating) for the first time.
I personally would prefer that each graphic is used less. I'll think of Maxwell Smart whenever I see a post by Mr. Jordan now. ;) (there really is a little resemblance)
Ahh man , Thats not your first time.. I woulda flubbed that all up haha ..
WELL WELL DONE , Really would think you have done this before By how Well done it ALL is the graphics , changes all Smooth and CLEAN/CLEAR...
Excited for you Buddy , this is a Really good Video .. Nice to see the faces behind these books and hear the thoughts on why they choose what they did .. AWESOME , and We are going to be getting one of them books thats for sure !!
All in all a great video. My only issue is that it seemed a little too stiff/scripted, the conversation didn't naturally flow. I know that's pretty much the norm in sales/infomercial type videos but nonetheless it still piqued my interest and I will most likely pick up the book due to it. It's a great concept. I'm not too excited about the "special" holders idea though but then again unique slabs has never caused me to pick up a coin or attempt to have something graded.
To me the title sounds misleading. From the interview, it sounds like the top 50 modern keys would be a better title. Or are all key coins considered to be the most popular? I didn't think so. A lot of the modern keys have a low mintage, because no one really wants them. As opposed to the classic keys, which were minted based upon demand from banks and now everyone wants one to complete their set.
