Interesting, but...
Why advertise on Craig's List?

It's free and easy. Besides you meet the finest people from there. Salt of the earth.

Setting aside the understood sarcasm, the main reason is the lack of fees and no stupid restrictions. If I could build a store on Craigs list, I would be selling ther ein a heart beat.

yeah, no fees, can't beat CL except that you might have the possibility of being robbed. However the coin is vf details, problem coins are very hard to sell, easier for this person to dump it on ebay

Craigslist is great for some things, but not coins IMO. It's so easy to list though with zero fees it IS enticing for small dollar items.

VF details could possibly mean that the coin's been plugged, re-engraved or had other, serious repairs performed. The term "details" can be a most deceptive euphemism where coins are concerned. As the old saying goes, "The devil is in the details." Folks who generally shop on Craigslist are looking for bargains. To an uneducated buyer, looking at some coin magazine, this slabbed coin could appear to be a bargain. A 2009 RedBook lists this dollar at $6,200 in VF-20!

Craigslist is good for giant clam shell (like one my co-worker just bought) and car parts...not coins.

You can buy or sell anything off craigslist, that said id be suspicious of fakes on there.
But if you do do a cl transaction do it in the parking lot of your local police station. Very few people are dumb enough to try and rob you there

No need to "guess" about the cleaning, if you read his ad (click on the link in the op) ... he has full disclosure.
OP (original poster) how much does he want for it? Did you call?

$4400 is what they are asking. I never went to see it. For those of you that don't live in Idaho, Eagle is where a lot of the "rich" people live a most of the stuff there is (pointlessly) expensive. Plus is has crappy access. They are building the city up along the state highway, but then complain that people drive fast on the highway and then get traffic lights installed. So there are dozens of lights on the state highway.
I was just posting it here incase some one was interested and wanted me to go take a photo of it or something. Beyond that I was not interested in it because I don't have the money for it.
