 to CCF. Does not look like an error but looks like it was pressed in a vice with another cent.Notice the letters above the date are incuse. John1

I agree with John1. Besides being incuse also notice they are backward like they would be if you put another cent against it and squeeze them together.

How could someone do such a thing? Other than cutting up another 195? cent into pieces to press into this... Thanks for the responses.

On a vise squeezed coin more devices would appear. But if you placed two coins on top each other and placed wood on each side and hit them with a hammer, only part of the devices would be transfered where the happmer head hit the wood.

The only thing with this one though is that only parts of another cent imprinted on this coin. Just a part of the date and the word liberty.
