Struck-Through Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC ...but What?

copper nickel daddy Pillar of the Community United States 2224 Posts	Posted 05/25/2012 9:47 pm Found this struck-through Lincoln in a bank roll tonight. Curious about what it might have been struck through. There's no pattern, so it's probably not cloth. Any ideas? Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 05/26/2012 02:36 am It may have been a piece of a struck through planchet that fell off on that area. It even distorts the rim in part of that area. I don't think it is a lamination peel as there is not evidence in a straight line across the planchet. Report this Post to the Staff
