Anther learning question - I have 2 dimes (1996D & 1969P (?) that have folled mintmarks. What is the proper term. for these?

I think you need to fix the link, I can't see the pics. The proper term would be filled mint mark. You're right!

I see it, I think dome kind soul fixed it. I tried the html brackets, but I get a message that my HTML is off. I am not computer savvy, by far.

Filled MM's are not considered as RPM's they are an example of a chipped die in most cases,,like the one you have pictured.

The small post which makes the center of the loop of the P has chipped off .
