That is really cool. I've found the DDO-2 (I believe), where the doubling is not as promminate. A couple years ago I was getting boxes of solid copper that someone had kept for years and decided to turn them in. I keep going back hoping he turns more in; so far none.
Are you going to have it slabbed?

Great score, BadThad! Still hoping to come across one in a roll, but definitely not holding my breath.

I'm thinking he got what others may characterize as a great deal, but that's fine with me. Another CCF member recently went out of their way to help me out by selling me a long desired coin at his cost which was below market. I hope others will consider doing the same some time to help out a fellow collector.

I found one in circulation a few weeks ago. Not as good as this one. There was some color on the reverse of mine. So for guys trying to look for one in a roll don't give up hope.

Yinzi50 you give me hope. I have become a man on a mission to find DDO's in circulation. I am going to the bank tomorrow to purchase my first box of cents and am looking forward to the hunt

That is indeed a great coin to have in your collection! When I show freinds and family the less obvious DD they look at me like I'm nuts. This one would sure stand out!
