I saw this late last night best bit is they think its suddenly worth double what most 1946 on ebay go for.

Has anyone messaged them yet and told them theyve completely ruined a once collectable coin? or is it not worth the bother

Probably not worth the trouble. Most sellers just get agro when someone tells them the coin they think is worth heaps is worth very little.
