Hello
Just found a other colorful penny...
This one has a bunch of stripes all over the front. No stripes on the reverse.
I have heard of a woody penny before.Could that be one?

Looks like staining from some type of environmental damage.

Doesn't look right to me....the left side almost looks like permanent marker...who knows...maybe it is one...it just looks off to me. Either way..they are fairly common

The streaking is way to uniform to be natural IMHO. Whilst some woodies can be fairly even I've never seen one with streaks so evenly spaced and parallel.

Almost looks like the obverse was covered with packing tape, the kind with the fibers running lengthwise.

Does not look like any woody I have ever seen. I do not think this is a natural woody.

Don't "natural" woodies have similar obverse and reverse patterns?

This look like a poor copper mix. Although real uniform, it shows over the devices. Usually they show on both sides, but with the darkness of the reverse, it may be obscure from images provided. I would save it as an unusual find. Probably not much of a premium for it. But unique looking.

Looks like it has been in a folder with corrugated cardboard or something similar.
The streaks are too uniform to be anything else than environmental damage.
It sure looks cool tho
