Here's my latest purchase. Paid about F-15 money for it.
A big fan of Barber quarters and Halfs, so I like it alot;) Would grade it about VF-35 due to the full liberty and fully separated feathers
How would you grade it?

Thanks in advance
Anders

I'll call it VF-35, a very nice looking Barber half.

I think it might be a EF-40. At the price you paid, you are doing quite well!

Well, I would say VF35 because the detail on the reverse isn't strong enough for XF40.

I think you nailed it at VF-35. If the lower edge of the LIBERTY band were fully defined it would probably get no arguments at EF-40.

Nice coin, perfect for a better-grade circulated type set, and a steal at F-15 pricing. Congrats!

I really like the barber design for quarters and halves. Good thing they aren't in very high demand. Can pick up G-VG coins fairly cheap, but I aim for better grades. Good thing is, not too many people in the European Craig's lists know how to price the coins they sell. ;)
