I was looking through my ATB Quarters that have been released so far by the mint and by far the most impressive coin is for El Yunque and the most unimpressive coin imo is also the very first coin, Hot Springs. If there was poll taken what would be the most impressive and unimpressive coin that the mint has put out for this series that is scheduled for 2010 - 2012?

Hot Springs sprung a leak. Followed pretty closely by the upcoming Hawaii's volcanoes. IMO the most interesting is the Chaco Culture, NM. I can't wait for the Acadia in hand because I think that may become my new favorite, but I may be too biased because I have vacationed there numerous times.

with TJB17 - I love the look of Acadia and can't wait to see it in puck format. Though El Yunque is pretty cool! So many of these designs are turning out to be mountains in the background with an indigenous animal in the foreground.

I really like the 2010s other than hot springs.
Im probably in the minority but I am not really a fan of the El Yunque.

Basebal, I think you're a minority on this one, I LOVE the El Yunque as well. I'm not a fan of Vicksburg... although it could be because I see so many from circulation too.

Im almost positive I'm in the minority on that one as a lot of people rave about how much they love it. I just dont see it personally but we all have different tastes. Im more of a fan of the wide picture designs for the parks like the Grand Canyon, Olympia ect. I do like the close up type images on the El Yunque but prefer those for things of historic significance. Maybe theres something I'm missing about the bird and frog on that coin

I think the Glacier National Park and the Olympic National Park are the two nicest ones.
And Hot Springs is the worst.

Hot Springs = WORSTGlacier National Park = BESTThey ALL are better than the State Qtrs, by the way.......just having the ATB's with the artistic renditions that actually have DEPTH added into most of the designs makes them superior.

Least favorite is Chaco Culture; two lined holes in the ground, meh. There were other better design candidates that suggested the spirit of the place. Let's see, we'll have a fourth quarter with a hoofed animal in the foreground in front of a mountain or some other physical feature, so yeah that's been done to death, but I'd like to see a moose on either Minnesota/Wisconsin/Michigan's ATB Quarter... Hard to pick which one us the best design so far, Mount Hood and Volcanoes are simple, gets across what's there on a 1" surface effectively. Most of the other quarters are too cluttered for its size. They are great when enlarged into a puck but only 1 in a million people have ever seen the large quarters.

My least favorite would have to be Hot Springs, perhaps because when I do see one in circulation, the luster on it is already gone. All in all, I am a big fan of the ATB series. I am in the minority here haha, but I think it's one of the more attractive coin series that I have seen.
