Hello coincommunity! Is there such thing as too much toning, or toning that makes a coin less desirable?

Take a look at these three..I feel like under that toning lies a beautiful AU-MS coin? Give me your unfiltered thoughts, and grades!

So much so appreciated!

Eye appeal has a lot to do with the value of the coin. Many people don't care for mottled toning like this. No reason to clean them though. I like it myself. I think they are nice coins.

dont clean them. They are, at best, $5 dimes right now; I mean they are Roosevelt dimes and you don't have an MS70 there and you will certainly kill any MS potential in the future by cleaning them.

Enjoy the fact that you have some cool looking, eye appealing dimes that a lot of people probably don't have. I wish I had them.

I enjoy toning! :D

Great dimes, dont clean em off. If you really wanna try to lessen the tone, I think acetone might work.
