Poll Question
I want to post a survey on your average cost per oz. of silver is. I don't want to know what your holdings are, for obvious reasons. Those who feel that this is personal info. don't have to post. I'll post first.

Luckily, I bought a TON of 90% for circ date/mm albums when silver was still $15/oz. So when I went back and started adding all of that in, It brought my average WAY down.

I'm at 28. That's why today's pick up was good. It keeps me at my average. Hopefully it will drop more. Then I can get that average lower.

Since I started buying my silver (bulion and numismatic) in December 2010, I think my cost averaging would come out to $35/ozt for the lot.

If I factor in all my coins and bullion, my spreadsheet says: $35.62. When I subtract out the numismatic value, my average is: $28.07.

I'm not sure off the top of my head but I think it's in the $11-$20 range. My dad was bugging me to buy as much as I could when silver was $5/oz and even at the $10-$20 range. Of course I didn't listen.

I would have thought the majority of the member's here would have been in the $20-$30 range or lower.

Current estimate is between $15-17...

If I didn't sell some of my holdings, maybe low $20!

Great thread idea Chris

Core Holdings in the 14 to 16 Dollar Range.

Continued to buy all the way up and all the way down
and no intention of stopping no matter what direction
the paper price goes due to one indisputable fact of fiat
currency.

WOW! Someone is in the $0-$10 bracket. I was there a few years ago. Then the addiction kicked in.
