It does look a bit odd, but I think it is a real one.

Looks good to me. I'm thinking it would go AU (Details - Corrosion).

Sharp detail, at least EF and very possibly AU. Surfaces are pitted from corrosion, there are some noticeable scratches, and the color is off. It was likely dipped or treated to arrest the corrosion and that processing gave it an unnatural reddish tint. In spite of the problems it will probably sell for much more than the current bid ($28).

Looks genuine and high end EF before the damage occurred. It appears that someone did a poor job of removing the crust that formed on the lower portion of the coin. Too bad, it was a nice coin and now just a filler.

I would say EF details, too much wear to be AU, with corrosion and verdigras. This is an N1 R2. I'm surprised it has so many bids. The corrosion really brings it down. I would wait for a better one.

Ok, I just thought the details looked too flat. Was expecting more cheek.

I have bought from Ernie before as well, he has sold lots of coins with problems on ebay for years with good feedback, you get what you see, no shenanigans.
