Poll Question
I'm sure we all love silver but what's your favorite type of silver?

I like 90% silver coins as you get a piece of history + precious metals all in one.

None of the above. I have a tiny bit of World junk silver coinage, varying fineness. Almost all of my silver coins which number over 2,000 pieces, have numismatic value. Weight wise, they would amount to over 10 kilogrammes.
I also have a small amount of rather nice sterling silver tableware.

My 'favorite type of silver' is XF/AU problem-free pre-WWII coins. 'Junk silver' and 'numismatic silver' (that's ASEs and other novelty bullion, right?) are my least favorite.

Numismatic silver. Although some of my numismatic silver is technically junk silver.

Now that I think of it, wish we could make two choices. If so then I would choose 90% silver (junk) and numismatic

Number one favorite would be American Silver Eagles, followed closely by 90% silver halves.

Quote: These two "Crown Size" Silver coins that are not in your poll question are the top 2 silver coins I like the most... I think your coins would fall into the last category on the poll, numismatic silver coins.

Numismatic silver. I don't collect silver coins for their silver content but rather for their place in history. And I never discriminate against other metals. And none of it is junk to me!

I checked the 90% Silver coins, but really it's any silver coins. It doesn't have to be 90% silver or US based either.

I think 1inamillion15's intent of the poll was regarding silver bullion content of various items. But, only he can clarify that.

Various numismatic world silver coins, I just love looking at their designs and historical context. I dislike junk silver because of their sameness, I am never one to stack up on the same kind of coins. But I just can't say no to a beautiful modern silver proof...
