Hi all,

Spent a few hours yesterday arvo going through some 2 cent coins I have and found 1 missing SD initials along with a few others with some errors. The one pictured here was the most interesting with the bottom half of the letters appearing crushed on the obverse, and some odd markings on the reverse. Can someone tell me if these are real errors and what caused them?

. How many great coins have been ruined because they have the misfortune to be located at the ends of the Chubb or Armaguard bankrolls

I have seen lots during my "noodling" sessions. It would break my heart if a 2000 $1/10 mule were located in this unfortunate position

The rolling machines can do a very decent job of hacking a coin to death. A real shame really. I have come across a couple 1972 5c with damage from one and they were so sad I couldn't take them away from their friends and they were released. Touch wood I haven't come across anything nicer that's been hacked.
