The big question Silverhawk, how would you tell your horde from the rest of your underware?

I have found over the years to keep what I stash and where I stash it a secret. Only a few of my good friends know I even collect coins and most have no idea. Although, I am considering letting my brother know where I hide my stash, in the event that something happens to me. I figure since he lives in CO and I live in NJ, there is nothing I need to worry about. Although I have to confess, my 4 year old son knows about my stash since he is developing an interest in coins and PM.

This works well, as sometimes the hardest place to find something is right in front of your face.....

Many ways to fool a thief who is always working on limited time. And no matter how smart they are, do you really think they have time to check places like this? A simple old used up oval rub on deodorant container if you wanna keep it cheap and not install a a high dollar secret safe room in ones place....

Nothing to do with hiding spots, but it does represent the amount of money the US prints each and every day, and the foreign stacks represents the money they in essence print for other countries, lol.... Actually this is from a drug bust, if it was what I said above, the foreign stack would be way larger.....

The mattress guy needs to switch from 1s to 100s. Or at least put the pillow on the other side for a better sleeping position.

Quote: Although I have to confess, my 4 year old son knows about my stash since he is developing an interest in coins and PM. Now that could be a significant security problem. Little kids have yet to develop their ability to discriminate what is appropriate from what is not. The 1st kid who asks your son, "Do you wanna trade secrets?", is likely to find out all about your stash. Who knows what will happen then, if anything.

I got one of those money boxes today. Made by steelmaster. Its ok for my current situation. When I out-grow it, which I hope will happen, it will turn into my decoy. Better quality will match the quantity as time goes. I got some foam sheets, and velvet from Michaels that I will line it with. Should be a fun project for today.
