Here is the obv.This is from MMNS. I put arrows on the extra bow tie. Hope this helps. I'll try and get the rev. asap

If the coin was attributed as a doubled die, it is in error. That is not a doubled die. It is most likely a well placed bubble in the plating on the coin.

Coppercoins would it be ok to send you the picture by email? I'm not trying to beat a dead horse but if the pic was larger it would be possible to see the doubled bow tie. Thanks

toner, we can enlarge the picture easily enough from here. The reason I said bubble is that the shape doesn't match an ear and the distance of the "bowtie" to the "ear" would be incorrect.I'm not speaking for Chuck, but that was my observation from the start.

toner...using IE...first click on the picture, then on the bottom right you can click the enlarge button...anywhere up to 400%

There is no hub doubling on the subject coin. The thing next to the ear is not doubling. I don't see anything outside a normal coin here.
