Okay so I know this topic had to be discussed before but could someone please tell me where I can find a Dansco 7070 album. Everywhere I have looked says sold out. A couple of sites say this album is undergoing an update. Does anyone know when the updated album is coming out or if they are indeed updating the album.....Thanks!

This one is selling for $23.03:

It took me 3 searches, but I finally found one. Nothing at all on ebay, except one for $94, which is way over priced.

Sorry, I looked at the details and it is out of stock.

I couldn't find one in stock.

Call a few places and get the scoop on it.

Just go a search on the internet for Dansco. You'll find all kinds of dealers selling these.

That's what I thought too, but that isn't the case. I tried at least 5 places and all are out of stock. That is really strange. Even ebay isn't selling any. How often do you find that ebay is out of a common/popular item like this? I've never seen it before. This is really bizarre.

Isn't this one of the Dansco albums they are in the process of updating? Might be way places are not ordering new stock since most people will want the new one once issued.

From a business perspective, Dansco sure has dropped the ball on the 7070 update, haven't they? There's obviously some pent up demand. At a minimum, you'd think they would disclose an approximate release date and announce some of the changes to keep collector momentum headed in their direction. Anybody call them in LA?

Just tried. That was weird. Voice mail picked up after 10th ring. "Please enter you party's extension" prompt. Entered 00 as instructed if you don't know. Didn't take. After 4th try, "Memory full," and click, hang up. Talk about a company that somehow manages to stay in business despite themselves.

C'mon...there has to be a Dansco employee as a member or watcher. A little help, please.

seems like it has been a long time since they announced some new updates/albums. I am waiting for the new Lincoln shield Dansco and I know lots of people are looking forward to the updated 7070. Seems like it would be pretty easy to fire up the new designs and labels and get them on the market. Heck the new Lincoln Dansco just requires some new wording/dates; obviously the hole size and layout is exactly the same.

I have a new 7070 album that I would sell. I got two from a dealer I know and these were his last two. One is still wrapped and one has the plastic wrap removed. PM me if you want the wrapped one, I'm going to keep the unwrapped one. I can't quote price here but it is not overpriced.

There has to be something going on with this company. Maybe it's not a full time
operation.

The time they are taking to get updated products out is much longer than any other business I have ever seen.

Many people are looking for 7070 albums, but also their currency album is of of stock
pretty much everywhere along with extra blank pages. I think several albums are at or near the end of their dated slots.

I do understand that the mint has not been consistent in the release of their products. I wonder if Dansco gets complaints about this ..
for example - "I have a slot for a proof ASE silver Eagle but the mint did not make one" or " There is no slot for my ATB San Fransisco business strike quarter"

I am betting Dansco does not like all the changes the mint makes and does not like hearing complaints about issues out of their control. Besides the fact they could get stuck with a lot of inventory that will not sell because of the mint changes.

Try to imagine trying to sell a modern commemorative album where the mint does not release what new coins with be made, only one year at a time.

I hope that what ever they are coming up with .. will be worth the wait.

I do wonder if they change the 7070 album so much that collectors will not like it .. will the older (current) albums be the one everybody wants?
